US President Joe Biden is looking to extend COVID-19 vaccine requirements to the private sector, according to a Thursday report by The New York Times. He’s also reportedly requesting the Department of Labor draft a rule that would make all businesses with 100 or more employees require COVID-19 vaccines or implement weekly testing.

The Department of Labor didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

This comes after reports earlier Thursday said Biden will sign an order requiring COVID-19 vaccines for all federal employees and employees of contractors with the federal government. Biden is scheduled to speak about the order at 5 p.m. ET.

Around 75% of adults in the US have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
